cont. used to my voice and touch. I did not do the same with the other two turtles. They are still shy of me even after 17 years.

Thank you, Mariola, for featuring my artwork in your group. I used to place my thumb and forefinger under Muddy's forearms, when he was growing up, and gently rock him back and forth in the water, while singing to him. This early contact made him used to my touch and voice. He will try to climb onto my hand if I put it near him in his tank. I did not do the same with the other two turtles, and they are still shy of me, even after 17 years.
